Advancing Public Safety: Anthem Produces the Inaugural EOPSS Symposium
In November 2024, The Anthem Group was contracted by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety and Security (EOPSS) to serve as lead planner for the inaugural First Responder White Powder Symposium – a first-of-its-kind convening focused on preparedness, response coordination, and interagency collaboration.
Hosted at Gillette Stadium, the symposium welcomed more than 500–800 professionals representing law enforcement, fire services, emergency medical personnel, hazmat teams, public health officials and nonprofit partners. The event created a vital forum for cross-sector dialogue around evolving response protocols, safety standards, and coordinated emergency management.
Anthem managed the full lifecycle of the event, including venue contracting, speaker coordination, program development, registration strategy, attendee flow, floor plan design, catering selections, audiovisual production, and comprehensive run-of-show execution. On-site, the team ensured seamless logistics so that presenters and public safety leaders could focus on delivering critical content and actionable insights.
The symposium marked an important step in strengthening statewide preparedness efforts, and Anthem is proud to support EOPSS in convening the professionals who work every day to keep communities safe.
